Working with dogs and their families has been my passion for a very long time. I started training dogs part-time way back in 1996. Five years later I decided to make it my full-time career. Although I had already been training for a while at that point, I chose to attend The National K-9 School for Dog Trainers. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I had no idea what I didn’t know! As the years have gone on, I have continued to learn and grow. Most recently, I completed the Certified Dog Trainer Program through the International Association of Canine Professionals.
There are so many wonderful aspects of dog training, but my favorite part has always been in working with everyday families. Seeing troubled relationships change and blossom is one of my greatest pleasures. I want everyone to not just love their dog, but to really like them! To crave their company and have wonderful adventures together in whatever form that may be. When we as humans take the time to understand and meet the needs of our dogs, there is almost nothing we can’t do together!
