Policies

HEALTH
Dogs must be current on their Rabies, DHPP (or equivalent) and Bordetella vaccines and be in good general health. They must not be displaying any signs of illness including but not limited to diarrhea, coughing or skin conditions not documented by a Veterinary Professional. It is highly recommended that all dogs be on flea/tick and heart-worm preventative. Proof of vaccinations are required prior to training.

DOGS IN HEAT
Dogs in heat are normally not in a place where they can give complete focus for training. We suggest talking with Alisson to let her know if this is a concerned when scheduling.

PAYMENT
Evaluations fee is paid prior to scheduling your appointment and is NON-REFUNDABLE
Program Deposit  holds your training appointments on the calendar & is put towards the cost of your chosen Training Programs. This Deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE

Training Programs must be paid in full prior to your first scheduled appointment

Payment is accepted in the forms of Credit, Cash and Check.

CANCELLATION POLICY/LATE FEES
Late Arrival for Private Services Policy:
Customers shall arrive for private services no later than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time.  Unless reasonable communication has been made to notify the RCA, late charges ($10 per every 15 minutes late) may be imposed at RCA’s sole discretion

Cancellation/No Show Policy:
Evaluation – 24hrs notice of cancellation is required.  The $50 prepaid fee is Non-Refundable

Lessons –  24hrs notice of cancellation is required.  Lessons cancelled with at least 24hrs will be rescheduled. Cancellations with less than 24hrs notice  will forfeit the ability to schedule a make-up lesson at Alisson’s discretion.

Programs -1 week notice prior to your first scheduled appointment is required for Program Cancellation. The $200 deposit is NON-REFUNDALE. Cancellations made with less than 1 weeks notice are subject to an additional $200 Late Cancellation Fee.

Once a program has been paid in full, it is NON-REFUNDABLE.  You may choose to pick up your program and continue at a later date for the same dog the program was for.  Programs are not transferable between dogs or people.

If payment is not made within 30 days and must go to collection and/or attorney, the client will be responsible for all collection and/or reasonable attorney fees.

SAFETY:
Dog training is not without risk to the owner, members of owner’s family, guests who may attend or the dog because the dog may be difficult to handle and may be the cause of injury even when handled with the greatest of care. Therefore, owners are solely responsible for all actions of their and their dog along with family members and guests while classes are being conducted

The Rochester Canine Academy cannot and does not accept any responsibility for the illness, injury or death of any dog or of any person or animal, or damage to any property, caused by any dog.

NON-REFUNDABLE EVALUATION FEE & TRAINING DEPOSIT:
Prepaid Evaluation Fee & Deposit made towards a Training Program are NON-REFUNDABLE. If a Program Deposit is made the day of your scheduled evaluation, the Pre-Paid Evaluation fee will be put towards your chosen program.  If a Program Deposit is made at a later date, the Evaluation Fee is NOT put towards your chosen program.  If the Client chooses to not schedule a training program with the Rochester Canine Academy after the deposit has been paid, the client understands that the NON-REFUNDABLE deposit shall be forfeited.  The Program Deposit is applied to the cost of your chosen program.
