The Rochester Canine Academy is committed to keeping our community as
safe as possible.
We will be following all recommended guidelines and safety procedures set forth by The State of NY & The CDC.

RE-OPENING SAFETY PLAN:

All clients entering the Rochester Canine Academy Studio must comply with the following safety policies & guidelines

  1. In-Person Appointments will be available for all Private Lessons including Jump Start Lessons & Tutoring Sessions.
  2. Initial Evaluations and Orientation Appointments will continue to be held virtually. One Hour Private Lessons may also be held virtually if desired.
  3. Group Polishing Classes will remain suspended until further notice
  4. Masks will be mandatory for ALL individuals inside the Rochester Canine Academy Training Studio.
  5. A maximum of 2 people may attend each appointment with their dog.
  6. Hand sanitizer will be available as clients come in.
  7. The door, gate, chairs & equipment used will be disinfected in between each appointment with either Clorox Spray or a Bleach/Water solution. To accomplish this, clients will need to remain outside and wait to be invited in.
  8. All surfaces & equipment used will be disinfected with Clorox Spay or a Bleach/Water solution at the end of each work day
  9. Alisson will use her own leash when handling a client’s dog
  10. If Alisson tests positive for Covid-19, or comes in contact with someone who has tested positive, she will contact the NYS Department of Health as well as every client that has been in the Studio during the previous 2 weeks to inform them.
  11. If a person who has entered the studio later tests positive for Covid-19, or learns that they came in contact with someone who tests positive, they agree to contact the Rochester Canine Academy immediately.
  12. If at the time of a scheduled appointment a client, or someone the client has contact with (including family members and/or co-workers) is not feeling well or is showing any symptoms of Covid-19, the Rochester Canine Academy expects them to inform Alisson ASAP to reschedule their appointment or make plans to meet virtually.
  13. If you are not able or willing to follow the above safety procedures, The Rochester Canine Academy reserves the right to refuse you entrance in to the Training Studio per the Executive Order signed by NYS Governor Andrew Cuomo on May 28th, 2020
  14. All rules and regulations are subject to change. If The CDC, State of New York or Monroe County changes their guidelines or social distancing policies (including returning to phase-1), the Rochester Canine Academy will immediately comply.
